With international silversmith qualifications and in close cooperation with renowned Norwegian designers, such as Jacob Tostrup Prytz, Trygve Eriksen and Birger Saastad, Theodor Olsen built a centre for Norwegian sterling silver production in Bergen.

Silver- and goldsmithing is a demanding craft in which knowledge, creativity, and dexterity are key. As always, artisans use our machinery to rough work, such as punching, grinding, and polishing. The rest is done by hand. A caring hand.

Every object that comes from Arven has passed through the hands of skilled, exacting, and conscientious craftspeople with a critical eye and a never-failing professional pride. In addition to repairs and special orders, today Arven works with skilled designers such as Lars Beller Fjetland, Lars Tornøe, Andreas Engesvik and is constantly developing new and exciting products.
