Secure payment with Klarna Checkout
Klarna Checkout makes it easy, flexible and safe for you to shop online. By answering a few questions, you easily identify yourself and you can choose the payment method that suits you best.

Klarna Checkout's feature is that we differentiate between purchase and payment. First you confirm your purchase and then choose how you want to pay. The payment methods that may be offered are invoice, partial payment, card payment or bank transfer. All of them are equally secure.

By providing or requesting information in Klarna Checkout, you agree to our terms of use and our use of your personal information as described below.

Klarna Checkout Terms of Use
By using Klarna Checkout, you agree to Klarna Bank AB (publ): s (556737-0431, Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm), "Klarna" conditions as described below, including any attachments or other materials referred to ("Terms"). From the moment you provide or request information, you start using Klarna Checkout. You hereby also consent to our use of your personal information, including the ability to transfer the information to third parties or for processing outside the EU/EEA. In order to use Klarna Checkout, you must be at least 15 years old.

Identification, customization and risk assessment
To be able to identify you and prevent unauthorized use or misuse of Klarna Checkout, and to fulfill the requirements of good credit, Klarna must verify your identity. Klarna collects additional information such as birth date and personal ID number, name and address, selected credit options, and credit information from different providers. Klarna also uses the information that you may have from previous purchases, publicly available information, and information on the Internet on how you have met our payment terms to conduct a risk assessment. Klarna Checkout automatically adjusts the risk assessment, and thus the design of the service every time you use the service, and you do not need to provide more information than required. In some cases, your previously entered and approved by Klarna address will appear as soon as you enter your email address and postal code. The approved address only applies to prefilled address information directly related to your purchase. By completing the purchase, you confirm your identity and correct shipping address.

Payment & fees
Klarna Checkout shows the payment options that can be offered to you. Applicable payment options currently offered by Klarna Checkout are invoice, account credit, credit card or direct bank payment. Invoice is the default method of payment where possible. In case of invoice payment, Klarnas invoice terms of 14-day credit applicable at any time apply. In case of late payment, collection expenses fee according to the rates of collection fee regulations and the current interest rate applicable at any given time shall be applied. It costs nothing to use Klarna Checkout. Any taxes and/or fees may arise through the selected payment method, ref. individual payment terms for the selected product. Klarna can add or remove one or more payment methods at any time from those offered in Klarna Checkout.

When you complete a purchase via Klarna Checkout, you and Klarna enter into an agreement where Klarna, among other things, guarantees that you do not have to pay if you do not get your products. Klarna also provided the shop with replacement of what you have purchased, thus taking over the right to be paid. Whichever payment option you choose, your payment will govern Klaren's requirements.

Use
Klarna owns all rights to Klarna Checkout. As a user, you may only use the service as directed to perform purchases, so far and in accordance with the Terms. If you have previously purchased with Klarna Checkout and entered your address, this will be filled out automatically as soon as you have entered your email address and postal code. You can regret this feature directly in Klarna Checkout, or by sending an e-mail to privacy@klarna.no whenever you want.

Declaration
You declare that all information you provide is accurate and yours and that you can enter into agreements freely and without guardian, trustee or other person's consent.

If you use the service on behalf of a legal person, you also warrant that you have the authority to enter into this agreement and accept the Terms in its entirety on behalf of the legal person. By providing personal information on behalf of other persons, you acknowledge that you also agree to provide such data and that the information may be used for the purposes and in the ways described in these Terms.

Misuse
Use of data that is not yours or which you for other reasons are not entitled to use, and any other use of Klarna Checkout that is not intended will be deemed by Klarna to be a misuse. All information related to misuse or suspicion of misuse of Klarna Checkout, for example by providing incorrect or misleading information, shall be stored and used for future risk assessments and to protect the affected parties. The user shall be blocked from further opportunity to use Klarna Checkout. Your compliance with the Terms and Individual Payment Terms for Klarnas services also influences the risk assessment using Klarna Checkout and thus your ability to use all payment methods.

Personal data protection
Klarna and our partners will process your personal information to provide you with a simpler payment service via Klarna Checkout and to simplify the payment process the next time you use Klarnas services. Klarna uses personal information for the purpose of securing your identity, managing customer relationships, preventing misuse of payment services, performing customer analyzes, credit rating, risk analysis, risk management, business development, commercial and marketing purposes for your own and our specially selected partners, and to comply with applicable regulatory requirements in general. Personal information is any information directly or indirectly associated with you. The following are examples of personal information that Klarna processes:

1. Contact information - name, address, e-mail address, phone number, etc.
2. Birth date and personal ID number
3. Payment information - card number, billing information, etc.
4. Financial information - for example, information about income and any payment remarks (used in cases where a credit rating is made)
5. Article information - information regarding the purchases made
6. Historical information - information about previous purchases, how you have previously met the terms of payment, any rejection, etc.
7. Information about your computer / device - IP address, language settings, browser settings, etc.
8. Generally available information on the Internet

Birth date and personal ID number shall be used for identification and as customer number for customer management purposes in Klarnas system. If you have previously used Klarna, there may be previously stored information about you, such as customer handling, documentation requirements or similar authorized purposes. Klarna will use any such information to ensure your identity and simplify your use of Klarna Checkout. Klarna can also use electronic communication (e.g. SMS and e-mail communication) in contact with you. Klarna may provide information to other companies within the Klarna Group, which may also use the information in this manner and for the purposes described herein. For administrative purposes, the information can also be made known to the e-trader/online store where you made the purchase and to our specially selected partners for customer analysis and marketing. Furthermore, information may be provided in connection with the transfer of debts to debt collectors or equivalent. The information may also be transferred for processing outside the EU/EEA area to a state that does not have the same level of protection of personal data. Klarna protects personal information and will take the necessary security measures to protect the information. You are entitled to submit a written request once a year to access the information that concerns you. You also have the right to edit incorrect information and choose not to receive further market communications. Klarna Bank AB (publ.) is responsible for processing your personal information, and such processing is subject to the Swedish law.

By using Klarna Checkout, you agree to our use of your personal information in the manner described herein, including any transfer to another company or country outside the EU/EEA area. Klarna can also use your information for electronic communications in, for example, marketing if you pay through the Klarna account. You can always withdraw your consent for these purposes by sending an e-mail to Privacy [at] klarna.no.

Klarna uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file sent from Klarnas web-server and stored by your browser to give you access to various features. For example, Klarna uses cookies to customize Klarna Checkout for you and for internal analyzes of how our site is used. Cookies can not harm your computer. Changes, add-ons and other services
Klarna is constantly changing and correcting its services and reserves the right to change the Terms for further use of Klarna Checkout. Therefore, always read the Terms before each new purchase. For other services provided by Klarna, Klarnas conditions and price lists for such services applicable at all times shall apply. Terms and price list is available at www.klarna.no. If it turns out that a condition is not feasible, this should not affect other terms.

Links to or from other websites
Klarna does not approve or control any third party's web-site or program and we are not responsible for the contents of these. To the extent you use such a third-party web-site or application/application, the terms of that area/application shall apply.

Limitation of liability, applicable law and disputes
In addition to what follows from the Terms or prescriptive rules of the Consumer Purchases Act, Klarna is under no circumstances responsible for any damage caused directly or indirectly by the use of Klarna Checkout. Norwegian law applies and any disputes shall be dealt with by Norwegian courts. In case of complaint, the consumer may contact the General Complaints Board, Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm or the Financial Supervisory Authority, Box 7821, 103 97 Stockholm.

Complaints
You can submit a written or oral complaint to the Klaren Division for conflict resolution. To do this, use the contact form on Klarnas website,  www.klarna.com, https://www.klarna.com/customer-service/customer-service-mail-form or regular mail to Klarnas registered address (specify "Complaint" on the envelope). Should we not be able to find a solution in connection with the complaint, the complaint can be forwarded to the Swedish Consumer Protection Commission (ARN). Klarna participates in such negotiations in accordance with the company's statutory obligations. Further information about the conditions for appeal is available on the ARN website: http://arn.se/other-languages/english-what-is-arn/. The dispute can be submitted in all official EU languages ​​and sent via the ODR platform to the European Commission. The dispute will then be forwarded to ARN. Termination
The right to use Klarna Checkout persists until one of the parties terminates the agreement. Such termination has immediate effect but does not affect terms and obligations for completed purchases (unpaid bills, fees, etc.), or the right to process personal information in the manner described above.
